1965 black hardtop, complete, really good condition
Hello, I have an original hardtop from my '65. It is complete with all trim pieces, latches, and hardware. I also have the hardware needed for the car itself to tighten the top to the car. It is black (has been repainted) and has a black diamond stitch leather headliner. Glass is in really good condition as well. Rubber is in useable condition with some cracking on it. I am asking $1900 obo for everything. Price does not include shipping. I live in Glen Carbon Illinois, about 15 miles east of St. Louis, Mo. I am willing to ship it anywhere, but I can only imagine it would cost a small fortune. I am a little negotiable, so feel free to make an offer, it cant hurt to ask. you can reach me on my cell at (618) 580.8704 anytime. Thanks for looking, Brian.

well thank you, it is nice to have, but i need to get a few other things for the car and i could use the money from it. hopefully it will find a nice home and host body. i'll hate to see it go.

Do you have the dimensions of the top? Trying to decide what it would fit in if I were to pick it up.

dennis, the rough deminsions i have are 55" at the widest, 55" long, and 16" tall. those measurments are approximate and actually a little big. i have had it inside a 2012 honda pilot, and it was tight, but fit nicely. hope that helps, and i included my phone number in the ad so feel free to call me if you would like. thanks.

Funny you should ask, the car is currently undergoing a frame on restoration. The frame was solid, so I disassembled it and detailed all the metal and interior, rechromed, and it is getting a fresh black paint job in another couple weeks. All that being said, in the spring the car will be for sale. It's a numbers matching 327/300 4 speed. 54535 original miles. Oh and I'm adding side pipes and a little heritage race stance to it. When its done, it'll have new chrome, new top, new rubbers, clean top to bottom, and stunning black paint. It'll be on here when it's done, or I'd be happy to finish to someone's liking if they caught me in time. Thanks for the kind words.
