Default WTB '63 parking brake handle bracket

This is the part - somebody in the far past drilled a big hole in it. Can't find any repros from vendors. Don't know if other years will work but this is on a '63. PM me, answer here in this thread or email me at 'fdreano@earthlink.net'. Thanks in advance!

Frank:

Take it to a competent shop, have them patch it and be done with it. 63 only stuff is crazy money if you can even find it.

Frank,

I am pretty sure I have one. It might be a couple of days before I can make it by my shop to check. I will email a picture of it.

Thanks,
Allen

If you didn't find one it may be that another early model chev. car or truck may match. Also I have a 63 wonderbar radio that came with some other parts when I bought my 64 a couple of years ago. Never had it wired up so I don't know if it plays, but the face is in decent shape. If you're interested in it let me know.

I'm pretty sure I have one. Will get a pic tommorrow. If you can use it it will be cheap.

Frankie my man, I'm afraid this one is not as decent as I thought. You can probably weld up yours about as easy.

If you clamp up some 1/8 copper sheet on the backside of your hole and weld up and grind the front side, both sides will be smooth when your are done. The copper sheet will level the weld on the back side and it will be smooth. Nobody is looking there anyway.
