anyone looking for a 1959 vin plate?

Well, this was my first post. I'll admit I haven't read all the posts.
Guess we broke a cardinal rule. Or touched a nerve.
I owned the car back in 1970-1972 and sold it Still have the VIN plate, Hooker fenderwell adjustables and a couple of other small parts. It was a long shot thinking someone might still have the car w/out VIN plate.
Sorry if it read like something more.

I didn't mean to jump on you...I was just saying that there has been a lot of posts on here over the years about VIN plates and anytime it comes to a VIN plate there are such a host of legalities that go along with that VIN plate that unless you own the car or give it to the guy who owns the car there are "other" considerations you may have.... Welcome to the board....I mean that sincerely...Great bunch of guys and gals....ARA

Okay Ara...which way did the scales tip?
All you need is a '59 and you have a match...
Just kidding. I have not had to time to get on here in a while.
I thought I would gig you a little.

If you have a VIN plate that you are trying to match with the current owner, please make a post in the "ORPHAN" parts thread in the Sticky section of the C1 / C2 General section page and list the VIN- maybe someone is there looking.
