Hi Jerry - I have two at home that I believe are originals. One has a cloudy look to the chrome as you look toward the socket end. The other has decent chrome with light pitting. I'm at work now but will see if I can verify the GM part number on them and get you some pics.
You just need the housing not the lens, right?
