For sale is a 1966 Muncie M20 four speed. This transmission is the later ,stronger, M20 that has the 2.52 1st gear. Overall this transmission is in excellent condition. The engagement teeth on the gears have very little wear. Just enough to take that sharp edge off. The input gear is virtually brand new. There are no breaks, chips, or cracks on any of the gears. Everything on this transmission was cleaned, and inspected. There was nothing wrong with any of the parts so it was re-assembled with new gaskets, seals, tail housing bushing, and hardware. This transmission also has a new bearing retainer.

Everything on this trans is nice and tight. It spins over nice and smooth, and shifts into all gears with ease. It is ready to go as is. All it needs is to be filled with oil, have a shifter bolted to it, and be stuck in a vehicle. Truth be told I almost don’t want to sell it, but I already have a couple extra transmissions so I’ve got no real reason to hang on to it. I know someone out there will be able to make use of it.
