where do I find the 'd' or 'e' codes? See my post from a few minutes ago, I have a complete, running 327 of that vintage.

I found the 7 digit casting number on the drivers side, with a D30 (or possibly D80) below it. I got nothin' on the passenger side. The long casting number is real bad, but the stamp on the front is great, TO7IOS.

Your casting number is clear and readable, but mine has only 5 readable numbers. I'll get better ligh on it and a magnifying glass!

Rebuilt heads casting # 3782461
Exhaust manifolds casting # 3797901 and 3797902
New water pump casting # 3782609
