WTB 64 or ? rearend cover
Hello I am looking for an undamaged 64 rearend cover please. I have been told that the covers are the same up to 77? any year that would work would be great as this is not a numbers car. Thanks everyone! Text or call 573 201 8444 Steve

I have one that is correct for 78-79 cars, but the bolt pattern will fit your pumpkin. It uses 7/16" bolts and 2.5" wide spring. Nothing wrong with it, $50 plus shipping.

I just bought a 78-79 rear cover off ebay but have been told it will not work? Does anyone know the correct answer to this problem, I know they look the same but does all the parts work together correctly. I will call you today Roy about your cover. Thanks for the input and any advice on this subject. Steve

The difference is the bolt size and the width of the spring. 78-79 used smaller bolts and a wider spring along with the lower spring retainer plate.
Though not correct, they can be interchanged using the correct width spring, bolts and retainer plate. If you have the stock spring, etc. it won't interchange.
