WTB Edelbrock C3B, C3BX, or C4B
Hey guys.
I am contemplating switching out my iron intake on my NOM 67 327/300.
My restoration is what I call a period sympathetic restoration, or I restored it to what you would have seen in the late 60s.
Anyone have an Old Edelbrock on their shelf they'd could part with? I'd like one that I could bolt on and go...

A VERY nice example -- and, the seller ships overseas:

I run a C3BX and don't know what makes the "X" designation different but these are fine intakes with no hood clearance issues...
This one has no corrosion that I can see and the baffle underneath looks very good.
NOTE: One caution -- I don't know your setup but I've been told (but have not confirmed) that you can NOT run an HEI distributor with these because of clearance issues...

Thanks Frankie... I was going to try to do a little more bargain hunting than that, but can understand why they are asking that...
What do you think of this one... closer to my price point

of course, I'd rather buy from a forum member... I have a little bit of trade wampum too... C2 t-shirts and such that I could add some money to...

At $60 that would be a steal....if corrosion is minimal, the baffle is in place, all the threaded parts are good, no broken "ears", and the head mating surface is flat.
All that is worth a premium IMO...

I had a C4B on my 61 and had to remove it because the stock air cleaner just barely touched the hood. I have a supposedly, original 283/230, and I just wanted to dress it up a little. I need about a 1/4" more space. My mechanic suggested have the C4B machined down the 1/4" but it doesn't look as though it would work. Oh well!
Any thoughts??

I have heard these will work in a Stock C2... don't know about the 61.
That being said, I had to scale back my manifold upgrade plans as I needed to divert the cash into other areas.... eventually I will get back to it, but currently, its not in the cards.

Have I got a deal for you!!! I'll give you the one I have and it has a new oil tube on it but you'll have to pay for the boxing and shipping. It's just not worth the money to put it on EBay. The center two mounting holes are oblonged on each side. If you're interested I'll send you pictures.
