1965 engine and trans for sale or part out
Customer's engine/trans from his '65 Corvette.
This engine and trans may or may not be original to the owner's Corvette, as he purchased car with salvage title and re-assigned VIN back in 1980, but this was the engine that came with the car at time of purchase.
327/300 hp built F0630 1965 VIN 119912 (original, not a re-stamp)
870 std bore short block cast dated E (May) of 1965
461 heads dated F (June) 1965
490 aluminum intake---original Winters intake for a 350hp engine
"casting flaw" aluminum valve covers
exhaust manifolds, water pump,( maybe distributor?--he needs to look for it.)
—-+ trans is sold—M20 muncie 4 speed with 010 case dates P0630—sold
Bell housing, flywheel, clutch, pressure plate
Asking $2,600.00 for the whole kit and caboodle
Will consider parting out.

I see your point---I may have misread or?? Some of the numberes.
The Black Book lists 18753 as the last May built '65, so wondering about your numbers?

My '65, VIN ending in 18765 was built Tuesday, 1 June 1965, putting your car several days after that.
I was hoping you might have the heads I'm looking for, but I'll give you a bump.
