Default 1963 convert dilemma

I have a 1963 vette convert. I have been restoring for about two years as money allows. It has a 64 engine with a edelbrok performer carb and intake manafold.
I want to take it back to the looks of the63 340 or the 64 350. Problem, ordered the correct air cleaner, wont fit the carb.
Does any one have or know where I can buy the original intake manafold and carb. I have a feeling the ignition shielding I ordered wont fit either.
I am open to alternatives or suggestions.
I am getting alot of money in this old soldier.

What air cleaner did you get? 63 340 HP or 64 365HP (no 350 HP in 64) 340 was an AFB 64 was Holley

I'm surprised the air cleaner didn't fit... is it too tall or is the air horn diameter different?

You are looking for a Carter AFB 3461S... expensive, but available

the manifold is aluminum casting 3794129, also expensive but available

I think something in a chevy carb and manifold from the same era would give you the same general appearance and the a/c would probably fit.

I purchased the 63 340 it will not fit the top of the carb. It appears the I guess the Horn or top diamiter on the orig. carb must be smaller. THe carb on the car today is a 450 dbl pumper,I am told.

The air horn dia is too small, do you know what dia the original carter is?
To replace the carb and intake with the original is about 17 to 2 grand.
I just want the look. The problem I see with after market intakes is the
the oil fill tube hole is not there.
