Default 1967 427 Hood

$450.00 plus freight

427 hood that will fit all 63-67 Corvettes IF you have the hood prop on the correct side. This hood has the hood prop bolt location on the Driver's side. Now, this is not a correct reproduction on the underside. I have been told that this was an over-the-counter replacement hood that was offered in the seventies. If you look at the pictures of the underside you will see that it does not have a skin, but an odd system of bracing and that there are studs instead of thread inserts for bolts.
It looks like someone dropped something on the middle of the scoop and there is chunk about the side of a dime missing. This is an easy repair that you can make using either fiberglass or high quality filler that will expand and contract at the same rate as the fiberglass. I sanded down a portion of the hood and there are two layers of paint and primer. The fiberglass is white.
Hood pins are included

This item will be shipped Freight. If you want to arrange for your own freight, the weight is 45 pounds and the dimensions are 64 x 12 x 65. My zip is 35124 and it will need to be picked up at my residence. No lift gate is necessary.

Price Lowered $399.00 plus freight, which i assume will be around $150.00. I have a hood box leftover from sermersheim, so there isnt a boxing fee, etc.

Replied. Here are pictures of it on the car. It fit the car well, but as i stated, every car is going to be a little different depending upon previous repairs and body work.
NOTE: The car did not come with hinges or female hood latches, so it is just resting on the surround in these pictures.
