1965 Corvette 327 350 hp 4 speed 870 short block vin 108482
I have a model year 1965 Corvette 3782870 Short Block for sale. The VIN is 5108482 Pad is also Stamped with assembly date January 25th 1965. The casting date is L214. This engine has the correct 3866954 pistons, and appears to be original bore. I think a fair price for this short block is $1000.00. It has been sitting in dry storage for 20 years.
The short block presently has 3890462 2.02 heads on it that I will sell with it if someone wants, but they have casting dates in 1967. I will post more pics of them when I take some more tomorrow. The 3890462 heads I will take $300 for them.

If you are interested, I have a set of December 461 cylinder heads. I just have to check if the heads are December 1963 or 1964.
If it helps with your sale, please let me know. I will trade you for the 1967 heads.

Hi Mark,
The 461 Heads are dated L 20 3.
I have another set of 461s that I know are for the 1965 model year, but because of the snow it will be a while before I am able to pull them out.
Sell the 462 Heads to Bobonthis and if the 1965 461 Heads work for your short block, we will work something out.
