461 heads - $400.00
FOR SALE: A pair of 3782461 cylinder heads. 1.94 valves. Bone stock and ready for rebuild. B96 and B256. Double hump Flint castings.
Hard to find dates. Combustion chamber on the B256 is that of a 3890462 and 462 is cast into one of the intake runners. Common with GM at this time as these 2 heads were in transition and they used what they had (461) + 461/462 + 462. I've seen both combinations on midyears with B6 and C6 dates. Slight difference in chamber size does not affect performance at speeds we run at. I'm running the same combination on my C6 built coupe; never an issue.
