Man....do everything you can to salvage those seats. When and If you find them, they will cost a bunch of money!
Hopefully your frames are good, and you can just purchase new foam and covers.

The frames are good because no part of the seats are weak are collapse.. I might just be the seat springs because i did see a lot of rust. Thank you for your concern.

I have brought back a lot of nasty C1 seats. The last set I did the frames were rusted in half and had to be welded together. Most of the time the springs are shot and look very nasty. All the parts are available. To me it doesn't sound like your guy has much experience in old Corvette seats. JMO
