Default Sold Sold Sold - C2 Hard Top

Selling my hardtop have not used it in two years asking $500.00 OBO. Needs new gaskets and headliner glass is in good shape. I have added a pic which shows the clarity of the glass. Underside has the number 4 written on it and D-blue. Current color is not original. Numbers on glass are very hard to make out all I can discern is the number 3 and in smaller letters AJ. Can send more pics if you like.

Default Sold Sold Sold - C2 Top FS:

Just wanted to add a few pics and update my earlier post. Both latches are there and as stated headliner is gone, but I have all headliner trim. The glass is very restorable and I have a close-up which shows that you can read through it pretty easily.

Fat Mike has expressed interest and is first in line.

Thanks! Mike

Hey Mike - I still have interest in the top. I never rec'd the weight and dimensions - I figured you just got busy. I also need the cost of a frame or crate.. Shoot me the info and we can likely make a deal.

Default Numbers:

The top weighes 40 lbs, width is 55 inch give or take, height is 16 inches and length from leading edge to base of rear glass is 52 inch. The crating is a bit tricky because I actually have to take the unit to the freight provider to get the estimate. For what it's worth I once sold a mother city mold carbon fiber hood for my C5 And paid about $300 just for the packing.

Mike - thanks. I'll check with our shipping companies to see what options they may have to get the top crated. I'll be back in touch with you just as soon as I hear back from them.

Hey guys, if it helps, I had a hard top shell and plexi only shipped from southern California to New Jersey for $300 (when gas was high). The seller wrapped the hardtop in plastic, took a standard pallet and screwed 2x4's into it and then used the brackets for where the sides of the hard top fasten to the deckled sides to attach to the 2x4's. There was no box or surround, just fastened to the pallet and charged me $100 for that; materials +labor from one of his workers.

When you add the surrounding box or crate, it makes the overall weight go up into the next price bracket.

Mine made it to me safely.

Ifitgoesfast - Many thanks for the suggestion. I was originally thinking it needed to be fully crated.

Mike - please see my latest PM.

Well, you are taking some risk without the full crate. Mine was well padded and also strapped down in addition to the bolts on the side brackets. Good luck!
