He was supposed to sell them to me back in May when the listing first posted. Spoke to him by phone, awaited his PayPal account information, and he never got back to me.

Hey dude let's set this record straight right now. Look at my contact through your sale listing. It is dated on July 10 and you never contacted me. We first talked on July 13. You were out of town but sent me some poor pictures on the 14th. At the same time told me I was first to buy them. I asked for better pictures to clarify what appeared to be damage. Then on the 15th you notified me that you sold them. You shouldn't even be allowed to sell on this sight.

I spoke with him by phone the morning of May 11th, and he agreed to a sale for all 4 pieces. He told me he would get back to me with his PayPal information the next day, since his wife was better at that stuff than he was. We agreed that I would pick them up at his home, since I am 3 hours south. I left another phone message 2 days later, and never heard back from him. I do have the phone records to prove what I have stated above.

Oh well, I am glad that almost all of the Forum members here are men or their words.

If I were to sell side exhaust pipes here, the first to respond would have first dibs, and in that case, 78Hokie66Vette who posted the first response at 5:38 am on May 11 would get them if he paid for them.

Yes thank you i am a good guy. Yes i said you had first shot . I sent pictures plus the ones in the ad several e-mails & phone calls back & forth & i could not get you to take them. I had two other people i was holding off & they kept saying they would take them. I am wanting to sell them . I tried to sell them to you. If i had taken a deposit & then sold them that would be wrong & dishonest . I did not do that . I did nothing improper.
