Default Grand Sport Halibrand Knock offs

I read the rule about eBay links, so I deleted the link. I joined just to get the word out. Selling my Halibrand knock offs from a 60s race car. Only been on EBay a day. But not a lot of interested. I don't think the general public knows how special they are. So if you know anyone , please let them know they are out for sale. I'm giving up on my Grand sport tribute dream. But someone else really needs these, and they belong on a Vette.

Default GS wheels

Did you have a price in mind? What condition are they in? Any corrosion, road rash ect.? Are they true pin drives?
There might be some interest, but need a little more info please.

True pin drive. No road rash. No corrosion. Condition is great. You could leave them as is. Or re-polish. Just the normal Mag discoloration. No pits. Always in a garage, never outside. Same guy had them since the 60s. Tires are dated 65.

You have an awsome car. No hub adapters. Not sure what happened to the car. I might be able to track him down and ask. He's an older gentleman but I think he would share what he knows.

I'm glad I found this site. Maybe I'll stick around and change my user name. I set it up just hoping to find out more About the wheels and get the word out about passing them on. Here's my 64 that I thought about making a grand sport "looking" car.

Forum rules require that a price be listed for any parts for sale. What is your price for the wheels?

Good luck with the sale.

I understand Dr. L-88. I hoped to just post an EBay link for awareness that they are out there. (Some groups allow that). My other option was a "what do you think these are worth" thread. And that never goes well on any site.

So, here goes. I'll also say that they are truly for sale, not just fishing. Price is $5000. I paid $5000 plus a long trip to get them. And I felt like I got a deal.

The Auction didn't go so well. Didn't even make $3k. But I know there are few people looking for a wheel like this. If anyone knows of someone looking for Grand sport wheels. Or has a tribute car and would like real wheels on it, let me know. I would sell them for the $5000 I have in them.

Back up on EBay. $3000 starting bid and no reserve. Probably the only set for sale anywhere.
