Muncie 4 speed and shifter
Nice looking Muncie 4 speed I took out of a 70 Corvette I bought for a race car project. Not strong enough for me ! I think it's an M20 , no grooves on input shaft. Pulled the side cover, it looks to be in decent shape. I cleaned up the case , it's nice , no cracks or stripped holes. Doesn't look beat up. Case casting number is 3861325, stamped PO3 31 and has the 7/8 mainshaft . Has a serial number stamped but it doesn't match my car (no surprise it had a truck motor in it also). Comes with what looks like an almost new Hurst Competition Plus shifter. I cleaned it up and spray canned it, no wear showing. Has a straight stick on it, but I have a couple other sticks if you need a diff one. $750 or I can sell the trans without the shifter also for $550 . Hope someone can use it !
Checked casting numbers , seems to be 64-65 ? Can deliver to Corvette Carlise, I will be there Thurs and Fri.

FWIW, it's a 65 with the square boss on top of the housing near the center bearing.
Also speedo cable came out the left in 64.
