My '58 fuelie threw a rod last month. I am looking for a Flint block, casting number 3737739 dated cast J--7, K--7 or, preferably L--7. Car is a 290HP fuelie, built Jan 20, 1958. Heads are (I think) Dec. 13 and 20 1957. Of course, a stamp pad that said something between FI223CS and FI15CS (Dec. 21, 57 to Jan 15 58) would be ideal, but not critical.

I need a good, rebuildable core with reasonable bores, say max .030 over.
