66 vert ..real barn find or trash?
Hey guys,
I need a little advice. I have 71 LS-5. I like the car but its not a C-2!
Ok, I have a friend that has a 66 conv, big block car in a barn for real. The car is minus engine and transmission. Thats not it...the fenders have been cut up as he "raced" on dirt track..maybe. There's not alot to work with. However I need a project .. maybe. What do you guys think this thing is worth?
The car's been sitting for 15 years maybe?
I like the idea of a non-numbers matching hot rod. A big block, 496 or a nice stroker small block.

Well It All Depends On How Much Of A Project You Want And How Much Of The Work You Can Do Yourself. It Can Get Pretty Expensive To Put The Body Back To Stock And Hunt Down The Mussing Parts If It Was Stripped For Racing. Do You Have Any Pictures You Could Post? Im Sure That Would Help Everyone Out With Giving You An Idea On Price.

yeah it could get expensive!
The car is really bad....but maybe as a long term thing...? Still have to convince my friend to sell it and that's not a sure thing.
