1967 Corvette Muncie M21 Close Ratio 4-Speed--It has 1 ring on the input shaft. The VIN number on the trans. confirms that it was removed from a mid-year Corvette. 7S1112XX. The date code is P7B03. The previous owner told me he had it rebuilt, but it has been used since. It is obvious from the condition of everything and all the gasket sealer on the trans that it has been apart and rebuilt. The gears and syncros look to be in very good condition. Input shaft spins freely like it should. I would not hesitate to put this in a car and run it as is, although it will need a new side cover gasket since I removed the side cover for inpection. There are no broken or welded ears on the main case. There is one small weld on the rear of the tail shaft where the shifter bracket bolts on, but they did a nice job and it will not affect anything.
