Default 1963 f/s connecticut ???

Has anyone seen or know of the 63 vert for sale in Conn. It is listed on thevettenet.com. White on red w/ black convt top 340/4 speed. Pictures look great on the internet but we all have been there when in person we were soooo disappointed. After several years of muscle cars and newer Corvettes its time to take me back to my roots "C2". Thanks,
Dennis

As I said pictures do NOT tell the whole story. Yes I have seen a couple top flight cars sell for 60K or less. The color combo caught my eye on this one. So retro White on Red. Still L@@KING..........Thanks for your opinion,
Dennis
How about A Red/Red 64 coupe top flight asking 57K advertised by Rons Corvette Restoration in Mass.

Denny, most the 63-64 guys are going to flame me for this but, for that kind of cash I would want a 65-67 unless it was a split or fuelie. You seem to have had a few cars in your day, if you are going to spend the cash buy something you can resell easily. First buy what makes you happy.

I hear you and yes you do have a large set for that statement. My first Corvette was a new 1964 Blue/Blue 365 HP which I had to wait until they were officially out to pick up from Roth Chevrolet in Paoli Pa.. I was there every day for a week, they had it parked in the service dept. , until they would release it to me on the official release of the 64 model year.

Back in 64 Grumpy Jenkins was probably building motors 3 miles up the street from there. Contes has nice cars and County Corvettes always has clean cars, just not sure where you are now.

Know Grumpy well. He did tuning on our 61 Pontiac C/SA back in the day. I know Joe Conte personally as he assisted in selling off part of my collection. As a matter of fact he sold my 66 425 horse like 5 times since I gave it to him in 98. Recently he had a nicew 65 or 66 Blue on White @ 45K but said it had some front end damage in the past and said it would not be up to my expectations. Now thats an honest dealer. I would trust Joe to the extent of no third party inspection. My best friend had top flight preparation done at County Corvettes for his 69. He top flighted three times but would never step foot into that garage afterwards. Felt he was taken advantage of at the end. I guess one last shot at his pocketbook so what the heck.

This guy wanted to trade for my Pace car but wanted to trade the 65. The 67 is gorgeous but you have to write him for the price.

^& is a nice looking car however Green is not on the top of my color choice. Also trying to stay away from Black interior. Red or White would be first choices for interiors. Its out there just have to wait till it comes to me.
