Default 1966 coupe (Pictures Added 4/17/12)

for sale [i think] 1966 coupe nassau blue , black interior , 327/300hp , 4 speed , ko wheels , side pipes , power steering , not power brakes , no ac , matching numbers , 1200 miles on rebuilt engine . last sentence is quoted from ad that we purchased car from in 2001 . bought on 29 july 2001 with odometer reading of 74774 , now reads 77763 . receipts from two owners dating to 1995 . we put in new radiator and battery last week . buyer or his representative must view car as i want this to be a friendly deal and no bad feelings by buyer after completion . i have never had ''matching numbers'' confirmed , just bought car and drove occasionally . local corvette place is very pleased with car . click on ''my corvette photos'' on left of screen for pix . all most forgot , there is a paint flaw on right side of hood [kind of very slight depression ] it would never photograph and no one has ever commented on it . looking for around $50,000 or offers slightly higher or lower . i get panicky dealing with people so please be patient . . .peace

hey , i'm getting the oil changed tomorrow if that helps . also if you don't understand ''offer'' that means you suggest a price [ higher or lower ] other than our asking price . we are somewhat flexible on ''price'' . . .peace

A pillar area.
Thanks

Very pretty car !! Are the knockoffs original ? They look 1965. Since the oil change, is it still dripping ?

bigcypress, you have a very beautiful car! It looks just like the 66' I bought in 1981... same color and options. Wish I could buy it from you, but not enough cash until later in the summer. If I were you I would go ahead and list it on eBay and see what the market is for the car. You won't be able to do an auction style bid on Corvette forum, the seller rulers don't allow it.

Good luck!!

quite sure ko's are repro . i also wondered about drip , i'll stick a piece of paper under car and check . i was joking about doing an ebay style sale as i am getting frustrated . i have things for sale on archerytalk.com , some for almost a year and i don't want that to happen with vette as we are interested in buying a c6 and need the garage space .

We may as well swap- my '09 is almost a color match! How much "boot?"

Chances of making a swap happen are rare indeed, I thought the similarities in our cars across generations was interesting. however, if you truly do want to discuss an '09 coupe 1LT with Z51, NPP and Jetstream blue/black interior you are more than welcome to PM me. 19K miles.

ttt includes a second radiator and a weird little auxillary fan to help with cooling [which was never a problem] .......just went to look at box i placed under car to check the oil leak and it appears dry . i put it back and will monitor it further . also includes bunch of receipts from purchases by past two owners . like to have this done in next couple weeks or i will need to take car to aci car show . i can't deal with all the people that will be there . maybe it will rain [ probably, as i think it is my 73rd birthday] . . .peace
