1966 Coupe Corvette for sale

327/300HP
Automatic
149,894 Miles
Silver Pearl with Black Interior

Description:

Numbers matching 1966 Corvette Coupe, VIN #194376S113563. The VIN indicates his Corvette was built in February 1966, midway during the 1966 Corvette production year. This date is an indication that any mechanical/engineering changes in Vette production made on a 'rolling basis' would have been included in this Corvette Coupe. The odometer shows 149,894 original miles. The mileage is not a concern since this Corvette had a complete restoration in 2005 including mechanical rebuild, paint and interior.

This 1966 Corvette Coupe is powered by the original 327-300 base motor. The motor is original based on the correct factory motor code stamping on the motor block. The motor is coupled with an automatic transmission, a rare option selected by only 9% of the 1966 Corvette buyers.

The engine compartment is clean and reflective of original components including chrome shielding. The painted red valve covers have been replaced by aluminum Corvette valve covers, standard for the optional 327-350 motor. However, this was a simple after-market replacement for mid-year Corvettes.

The exterior paint color is the original Silver Pearl color, one of the ten colors offered for the 1966 Corvette. Silver Pearl was ranked fourth on a selection basis chosen by 11% of the buyers. The paint is in excellent condition as is the exterior chrome including the bumpers and other bright metal trim.

The interior is in excellent condition and includes the optional leather interior, teak steering wheel and original AM/FM radio. Other options include power windows, brakes and steering, all comfort and convenience options.

In addition the 1966 Corvette Coupe has the A/C option selected by only 13% of the buyers. This option adds to summer comfort since Coupes have a tendency to become exceptionally warm in the interior during hot weather conditions. From an exterior perspective, curb appeal is excellent with the optional knock-off wheels and red line tires.

Price: $49,900

No power brakes and wrong intake. But still real nice. If your my age you might want the PG. I have a 65 with all the right options annnnnd.. a turbo 350. Great out of the hole and a great cruiser. (23-25 mpg). Good luck with the sale, Again looks really nice.

That's why this is a good place to buy a car, it needs to pass the scrutiny.
