I assume this is a Mid America body, since you've got a birdcage in it? Does it have a 63 Corvette title to go with it? Email me some pics.

Yes this is a Mid America car and is there as we speak, It is the full and complete and authentic chevrolet 1963 corvette Birdcage and VIN with clear title in my hand. All the panels have been applied except front clip which is scheduled. Plus original C2 doors. GS original corvette instrument cluster and Z51 C4 Dana 44 suspension. You start where I leave off.

Default 1963 gs

Sharkey,
I had pictures but lost them when I upgraded to ios7 for my iPhone, anyway the car is at MID AMERICA and I will call tomorrow to have Jeff Leech send me the batch. You are welcome to call him directly to check out my story. I have all contracts and cost on the build and the additional item quotes from Jeff to complete or he can take it as far as you want and you could take it from there. The car looks just like Mark Slidelnyk's 1963 build also by Mid America on the lateral-G forum. Like I said it is an authentic, original and complete 1963 Split Window birdcage with VIN and free and clear title in my hand. If you are serious why don't you call me and we can take it from there.

Default 1963 gs 2

The Grandsport 2 is a pretty close reproduction of the original GrandSport Corvettes of 1963 used for racing. They are built on a original C2 1963-1967 Corvette tub or Birdcage and titled as well. Jeff Leech has been doing this before anyone and rumored to have an original set of blue prints. The cars are on a 4 inch tube frame and have updated C4 suspension. They are very light and have a very nice power to weight ratio and I have been in one of his recreations and they drive very nice! They are not produced like many of the other companies whithout a real birdcage and poor body panel fit and safety issues, GS 2's are real corvettes only modified. Jeff Leech makes and has all of the parts and I think his first car was produced back in 82 or 84?

The one you see has a fuel gauge, and from my understanding since they got fuel in a pitstop. The Fuel Gauges were added later to the middle of the dash.
