Default WTB: Yellow 67 BB

I am in the market for a 67 Big Block. I've have a couple on the list that are in the PA/NJ area (I am actually in CO) and want to know what else is available before making a decision.

Here are the bullet points of what I am looking for.
  • Yellow
  • Prefer a convertible.
  • Big Block, preferably a tri-power.
  • Manual
  • Replacement engine okay such as a 502 crate motor.
  • I want to have a fun, reliable driver. Not a trailer queen.
  • #’s matching is nice but not required.
  • Solid frame and body. NO rust.
  • No body modifications.
  • Would consider a resto-mod but want the car to look like a 67 until the hood is opened.

Send a PM or post a link.
Thanks!

I'd like to stay under $80K but will pay more for something nice/that I really like. I am somewhat flexible on the details of the car as well.

Just put a deposit on a car. I'll post pics when the deal closes.

I've been looking for a 67 more than a year and only recently learned about this Forum. I had a couple of cars in mind when I started this thread and wanted to be sure I was not missing something. Finally pulled the trigger today.

sbaba,
As like-minded Corvette enthusiasts, I'm sure I'm not alone on the Forum in hoping your deal is realized to your satisfaction.
And if all goes well, I look forward to seeing a photo or two of your new 'pride and joy'...what an exciting time for you!

Kind regards,
Vern

I'll absolutely post photos once the car makes it home. I don't want to count chickens just yet. The support and help from everyone on this forum is really incredible.

Bad guess on my part. Sunfire yellow with the black stinger is awesome! Good luck with the purchase, I hope it works out!

As promised, here are some pictures. I may buy some bolt-on's and red-lines.

Looks like someone did a good job putting that car together. But messed up on the stinger, really takes away from the look. Enjoy!
