Without any docs there's no way to know what the car started life as. It might have been an original big block car of unknown H.P. or it could be a green base car with a 3 speed and a resto trim tag.

btw..I think the car looks great.

I wonder if it came from Pro Team?

Do not know how some comments are promoting the sale of this persons car. I thought the hobby was more about driving/restoring/having fun with the car(s) and not continually bringing up the judging thing. The seller has honestly listed his car with its issues. If you have questions or comments that do not help promote the sale..send a PM or move on. I think that we would see MANY more cars for sale here if the critics could hold off somewhat.
If you are in the market for a nice(look at the undercarriage) car to DRIVE and are not hung up on details, this car is a steal. I know how much time it takes to restore a car to this level. It is worth every penny of the asking price(IMHO) GLWTS

Sorry for the rant, but it seems like often sellers get beaten up here and I do not agree that's all.l

Guy, I was pretty liberal with previous borderline comments as they were relevant to input from the owner. However, if you do not get a response back from the OP to a question, please do not generate conversation and turn the thread into a discussion thread speculating about the car. It does not promote the sale. Its still a for sale classified.

Thanks very much.

I couldn't help but notice that you're from Ohio and was curious if your car was ever for sale at Pro Team?

A beautiful car and can be bought with confidence based upon the integrity of the owner as evidenced in his posting. Well done!

It's cleaner underneath than mine is on top!
I feel your pain about buying a car under a false impression.
