PRICE DROPPED to $37,000.00

For Sale is my 1963 Corvette Convertible - 327 cu in / 340 hp – 4 speed – with two tops – leather interior.

I’ve owned this car since 2008. I purchased this car with the plan to finish some minor needs and use for an occasional driver in the summer. An accident (not with the Corvette) and lack of time has prevented me from completing this project.

The previous owner purchased this car when he was 15 years old (around 1980) and did a good job with the help of a neighbor professional mechanic of restoring – updating – and a new paint job which was changed from light blue to Daytona blue. He balanced the drive shafts and installed new universals. Rear leaf was changed and all the steering gear was gone through. Gas tank was replaced as was the radiator and many small and cosmetic parts. I believe most if not all were correct originals as this was done in the 1980’s when original parts were readily available.

Car was driven approximately 5,000 miles after restoration and now has 37,000 miles on it.

The original motor was pulled at that time to be modified but this was never done. I have the original block and heads as well as most of the replaced parts.

I’ve since replaced (all with correct parts) the water pump – heater – all rubber hoses & clamps.

This is a solid original car with very little left to do. One headlight turns slowly – shifter is sticky – some window gaskets need replacing – windshield washer needs to be installed, etc.

I have receipts for everything done and parts purchased back to the 1980’s.

Using the Haggerty Insurance valuation tool I’d say this Vette is between a Condition #3 & #4. This would put the retail price at about $43,700.00 I’d like $39,500.00 (obo)
