Default WTB: 63-67 Convertible in $40K range

Hey Guys, It's been a few years since I've enjoyed the forum. I traded my C5 vert for a 69 SS Camaro Coupe about 5 years ago but never got Midyear roadsters out of my brain! Searching for a 63-67 in the 40's, non-correct car is fine, if done right 5+ footer paint okay but needs to have solid body, frame, cage and needs front disks. Appreciate any leads...particularly in SE U.S.
Blessings!
Jim

if you change your mind and want a coupe, I may sell my 66 silver coupe. NOM, black interior, side pipes, knock offs, runs like a raped ape, 4 speed, excellent paint, very original interior, some chrome in the engine bay, posi rear, am/fm, etc. Gaps are phenomenal. 44K. Am in Florida.

Thanks very much but I'm going to hang onto the roadster theme. Sounds like you could get a visit from Frenchman52 though!

I think you will stretch you dollar more if you look at 63 & 64 Converts...

Here is one that seems ready to roll, with a LOT done to it!

1964 Corvette Roadster - $39000 (Woodstock, Il)
Beautiful 1964 Corvette Stingray Roadster. Completely restored. ( Not a frame off restore) New paint, convertible top, carpet kit, new suspension, 4 speed transmission rebuild with hurst shifter, antenna, 2 1/2" aluminized exhaust system, radiator, brake lines, brakes, 2 headlight assembly motors, and much much more. Beautiful solid frame. I took out the 327 engine which goes with the car and replaced it with a 400 small block. ( Bored out to a 406) Engine runs great and has low miles. It has not been run hard at all. It is a beautiful show car. I also have the original hard top for the car. I have owned the car since 1976 and it has always been stored in a heated and air-conditioned garage. The corvette is fun to drive and everything works great. The sheepskin seat covers come with car. The seats are in great condition. The sheepskin covers are wonderful in hot weather. $39,000.00 Serious callers only
Call Steve at (contact info. above)

1964 Corvette Convertible - $32000
I have had this car for 17 years. It is dark Blue in and out.
327 300 hp with a 3 speed trans -
Paint is 20 yrs old and is due.
Interior is in nice shape

yes, I did see the silver color of your for sale vette after I read more closely. I guess I was blinded by your beautiful maroon car.... How big of a crowbar would I need to pry the maroon car from ya?....

It's a Triple Diamond Car, so I think you'd need a pretty big stick. Original owner is still living in the same house as is listed on the POP. Amazing, and it's a real pipe car.

Default vettefun

Welcome to the forum. Your file of the 65 works. The car looks nice and well taken care of. Not many Green/white cars. Mostly green/green or green/black. Nice combo. and much cooler in summer. Might be better to start your own "for sale" thread.

1965 Corvette Roadster 65 Convertible 4-Speed - $41900 (Roscoe)
This is a 1965 Corvette Roadster. The car is not perfect, but is in very nice condition. It has many new parts, including Brake Rotors/Calipers/Pads, Radiator, 2-1/2" dual Chambered Exhaust, Shifter & Linkage and Clutch. It has the original 3.55 Posi Rear End and numbers matching M21 Close Ratio Muncie 4-Speed transmission. The Trans was just freshly rebuilt with less than 10 miles on it. This Vette originally came with a 327 engine, but now has a 350 in it. It has brand new 17 x 7 American Racing Torque Thrust II Wheels, with less than 50 miles on them. Also included are the original 5-Spoke Hub Caps. The paint code is "M", which is Milano Maroon, but was repainted 2 years ago in Silver Pearl. The paint is in great overall condition that I would rate a solid 8.5 out of 10.
The black interior appears to be original and is in good condition. It still has the original Walnut Steering Wheel, which has NO cracks, as well as the original AM/FM Radio. The convertible top is in great condition. This Vette is a very nice driver quality car that you can be proud to place in any local car show, but isn't a points-type show car. It runs and drives great and is a real head turner everywhere I go. Asking $41,900 OBO. Please call, email or text for any questions.

Here's a link to my 63 for sale. I do have a new front disc brake kit but it's not installed yet. I've now made up my mind to sell this car, $34,000 OBO.
