Your ad will get a lot more attention if you post some of those pictures. Good luck!

Has anyone seen an overstamp of an 'S' with an 'A'?
I'm sure a potential buyer will realize this was born a Nassau blue car w/Blue vinyl, but you may want to mention it in your ad.

Can anyone offer any insight as to what the overstamped (A over S) means?
If I understand correctly, AO Smith bodies would have had the trim tag applied while still at the Michigan factory...so how might an overstamp occur? Is this something that a potential buyer should be wary of? (as in impact to price/value?)
-tnx,
Jeff
p.s. I couldn't find anything about this in Nolan Adam's book.

Over on the NCRS forum someone posted the photo of the trim tag and wondered if there was any evidence of blue paint to be seen. After having inspected the car, I can confirm that there is blue to be seen up under the dash area.
Also, someone noted elsewhere that there was a difference in the color of the chromate primers used between AO and StL. This car has the green chromate, which I believe is what AO used.
