Default 1967 Corvette Convertible Model 19467

Hi,
I have not looked at this 1967 Corvette Convertible.
If the Corvette is not sold and you are buying, make sure you bring real Corvette expert with you.
Put car on hoist and check the frame. These C2 Corvette's have frame corrosion especially at the rear kick up and the location where the rear control arm attaches to frame.
These AO Smith frames rust from the inside out because they are boxed sections.
Over the years due to rust the frames lose many pounds of weight.
I doubt this Corvette has brand new frame.
Also the windshied frame lower rusts out. Many C2 Corvette's have patched windshield frames.
If you can try to smell under the carpet for water leaks. The smell will be musty.
My brand new 1967 Corvette back in the day had bad windshield leak.

I did not look at seriously during my search since it did not have a/c, but it has been there a long time, which is not usually a good sign. I did look at briefly a similar car with air at Mershons, but found mine before I got to the inspection process with Mershons. It didn't look too bad from pictures, but of course that doesn't mean anything.

The 67 maroon car at Mershon was originally a white car :-(
It also has a THM 3 speed transmission. A VIN search on Google shows when the car was at a different dealer.

Three speed automatic transmissions were not available in 1967.
The only automatic transmission for 1967 was power glide (Two speed)

I understand that. If you search the VIN 194677S107799 you'll find it was at The St Louis car Museum and Sales where it was described, "The car is fitted with its original, numbers matching 327ci/300hp V8 and now shifts through a 3-speed THM Automatic transmission."
