I know of an original (5 Star Bowtie) 65 L84 Coupe. Red with black / white interior. Knock offs, teak, etc. PM me for information. Not a cheap car, but worth it IMO.

Default 1965 Corvette Conv. VIN#194675S116112/

Aaron I have a 65 I purchased in Atlanta in 1974 when I lived there, I am the second owner, all numbers match, 78,900 miles. I have totally rebuilt everything over the years, it is Marina Blue/ Blue interior, This is not a frame off, car absolutely has not a sign of rust, I have painted the frame and all suspension while it was apart. Car drives like a new 65, no option car, it was a 250 HP, it is now 330 HP; 10:1 pistons, 365 HP GM Intake w/ 600 Holley, electric choke, 365 HP Ex. Manifolds w/ Off Road 2.5 under car exhaust. Heads are big valve. Mild Lunati Cam Idle to 5,000. Petronix Ign.system. Radiator replaced, Al. Knock interior. Quartz clock conversion w/ switch., Al Knock white top; Blue hard top. good window, I have new weather strip not installed. Head light motors are perfect, Paint still looks good, some sand blast, minor crack at left head lamp opening, original grille. I drive it less tan 200 Mi. a year. Want to replace it w/ C5 ZO6. $47,000.00 OBO. Gary Pilson, gpilson@mindspring.con, 865 803-9656, Knoxville, TN.

still looking -
the ones i've found/looked at all have either questionable stamps (which calls into question the authenticity of the car) or have NOM - in which case I am not about to invest longterm into a car without original drivetrain.

any one else got a 64-5 Fuel car? Or know of one I should consider?
THanks

Dennis Pacy in Acton, MA owns several injected '64 Corvettes. He also knows others who own '64 and '65 factory FI cars. You can reach him at (978) 635-0559. He doesn't read this Forum. In fact, I don't remember receiving any e-mails from him although he does have a computer.

In your shoes, I would call Dennis and ask for his help. I wouldn't be surprised if he referred you to someone with a nice car for sale.

Good luck.

I know of two 65 converible cars. Both are expensive however. I also have access to original 65 fuel coupe with its original engine, but a chopper gun front end. Needs a restoration, but runs and drives. PER TIM TAG, Nassau blue / black vinyl interior. $55 firm. Injection unit is a 380 unit from a 1964 car. No vin stamp on the phlenm. PM me for more details.

BOTH roadsters are original cars and owned by collectors each over 25-30 years. Prices are low six figures. No emergency sale here.

A neat full option red / red leather convertible, all original, but had small flares added by original owner sold in Nebraska last November on eBay for 61500. It was the estate sale by a friend for the widow. These cars do come up, but you need the cash ready and jump fast to score victory.

I have no affiliation with this car. I am just passing on a lead to a car that I remember you are seeking.
