1958 corvette 290hp fuelie
About 6 months ago I bought this car,( rag top only) with great plans and energy. It has correct rebuilt engine(never started, 739), rebuilt trans T-10( build date april 57) and posi 3:70 rear. The FI unit was restored by a pro( Lockwood) and the distributor by another(Baker). I replaced the rusty frame with a new factory replacement . The body has been reinstalled on the frame. All the brakes, lines etc. replaced. I already bought a new radiator, fuel tank and many small parts. I have the bumpers(need rechrome) seats, windshield frame , heater and almost all the trim. Its a charcoal painted car. The gauges and clock have been restored by Clocks by Roger. He still has the wonder bar and the wiper motor, soon to be returned. I paid big money for the car and I need around $55K or a good reasonable offer. If $55 K is too much , what is it worth??? I highly suggest interested buyer come to Reno and look it over. Additional photos and info. I am no expert when it comes to numbers etc. The trans is a T10. The date on steel main case is Apr 57 and also alum tail housing. After much discussion on the forum it was determined that the trans is most likely correct to the car. So please ask questions. Joevette@gci.net SOLD SOLD
