For what ever reason the original Vin Tag that was installed by Chevrolet has been replaced with one from the State California.

Reasons that come to my mind are things like a rebuilt title, rebuilt car or an abandoned vehicle.

There is probably a 100 reasons why it has a assigned vin.
But all I'm saying is do your due diligence before you purchase a car that has anything other than an original vin tag.

Car is in CA, too far away for me. If i cant see the car in person, talk to owner, research any documentation, etc, not too interested.

I spoke to him a few weeks ago before it was listed on eBay. It was also missing the trim tag and has a one piece front clip.
