I was going to say I wouldn't dream of selling that car for $66k, wrong master cylinder or not... but I just checked and its up to $81k with 5 hours left. Thats more like it.

Where I live it'll cost $20k or more to fix the bubbles in the paint because most places will want to strip the car and repaint it.
I just can't see it at this price, but apparently others do.
About 5 hours to go..will it reach $90k?

Bad paint or wrong master cylinder I'd buy it. When a good car comes along you have to buy it. You dont get abundant chances each day or year. 63's are going up in price like it or not. If u have one this is a good thing if u want one step up or u wont get one. Nice car! Mine has had bad paint since 89 when I bought it.

This is on their site about fees:
"We charge a 5% buyer’s fee to the winning bidder (up to a max of $5K). The winner’s bid hold converts to a charge at auction end, and non-winning bidders’ holds are all released. This The buyer’s fee also motivates the buyer to follow through with the deal. Sellers pay $250 to list and nothing else, period"
So 85501 +5% = 89776$
I also have those paint bubbles by the way, only on front fenders and hood. But knowing that it's only cosmetic, I can live with it (for now )

Well it readily appears my $78,800.00 estimate wasn't even close.
I wonder what planet the people that were claiming at $66,000.00 the 63 Split Window was "pretty steep" are living on?!
"Pretty Steep" at $66,000.00 turned out to be merely a mild incline! with the final sale price being $89,776.00!...Mark

Hey guys fyi on the 63 split. The reason the paint is bubbling on the front clip only is the front clip was replaced with Corvette Image front clip. There's no way to repair this. I feel sorry for whoever bought the car thinking they could just redo the paint on the front. How do I know this? I have had to replace 3 front clips because of bad fiberglass from Corvette Image. Beware of Corvette Image fiberglass.

My friend restored a 65 roadster and a month after the customer getting his Vett back the paint on the front-clip started to bubble-it was the front clip that was the problem.

After looking at the photos more closely, I would agree that car had a front clip replaced. I would also agree the paint failure is too widespread and evenly distributed to be anything other than defect in the fiberglass substrate.
I had seen another sliver car with a Corvette Image upper surround have the same failure.
$89K with fees is crazy for this car.
