FS or TRADE 1961
My 1961 is not a numbers matching car however it runs, drives and shifts just like it should. It has new tires and a set of new Craigers Wheels. The red interior, and carpet are better than driver quality. The drivers seat back has a worn area on its side where the drivers slides in and out of the car. The bright red dash is in almost perfect condition. The original AM Wonderbar Radio is in the car and plays good, as does the restored 1961 clock. For the most part all the gauges Temp, Battery, Windshield Wipers operate good. The gauge for the fuel started giving me trouble, I am currently working on it. The speedometer and Tach work as they should. All the front, rear, turn signals and courtesy lights operate as they should. There are no crackes, or major scratches on any of the glass. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on the car. [*]Overall my 1961 Corvette is a very nice driver, it does have a few cracks in the paint. The soft top has evidence of the scissor effect on the top. These small holes are caused by opening and closing the top over time. From what I understand these are
Characteristic of these cars.
The reason I am selling my car is that I would like to buy a 1958-1960 vette. I have to sell mine before I can afford to buy another. I have a very reasonable price on the car. I am sure you know it is hard to find a good straight Axel corvette under the price of 50,000.00.
I priced mine at 44,500.00. I am sure the value of the car is more, but I have my eyes on a 1959 corvette I am interested in and would like to sell mine before it's gone.
I am very interested in a TRADE for a 1958-1960.
If you have interest in my 61 please e mail me at. c2vette@wildblue.net
I do not know how to,post pictures. I will continue trying to post pics,
Thanks George

I hate that car.
What I hate most about it is that it's not mine.

Don't get one like our avatar. Unfortunately it's a numbers matching early VIN NCRS Top Flight fuel injected car and we are scared to drive it. It gets a ride in and out of my shop around the parking lot just a few times a year. I almost wish I had a car that had a one piece replacement front end, Corvette Central repop everything, a 350 Chevy with a Holley carb and a Muncie 4 speed. That way if someone hit it, it wouldn't ruin our lives.
