Default approx value of 1980 orig 350 L48

Ive got the original 1980 350 L48 burns blue but runs strong im replacing it with a 454 and dont have room so i thought i might sell it on e bay does anyone know an approx price i should ask.are they rare or are they a dime a dozen. wish i had more room to keep it but i dont

Might be worth more to you to keep it, I kept mine plus all the other parts I took off, if someone wanted to they could restore my car to original condition if they wanted. I can sell it as a numbers matching car even with the 5 speed and 406ci in it. I hope you don't expect too much for used L48

It's definitely worth more with the car it came in. Otherwise, it's just another low hp 350. If it runs well, maybe $500.

More with the car than by itself. I'd be surprised if you can get $300 on Ebay.

Keep it. Not worth spit by itself but if it's original to the car, it would probably be the single biggest value adder to the car.

Yeah, that's probably more realistic, especially when you can buy a brand new crate motor from Chevrolet with more hp for around $1300.
