Power Steering grease?
I made the mistake of greasing the zerk on the power steering box on my '76 Vette. How does a guy go about getting it out, and what's the correct lube for it? Can I just remove the zerk and turn the wheel back and forth to squeeze the grease back out?

What are you talking about?
If a zerk is present, it's there to be greased...
There's a grease fitting on the ball-joint that's "strapped" to the PS control valve. Also one on the cylinder, IIRC. Those require greasing. No zerks on the steering box, nor the PS pump.

There we go, 2nd pic down. So that just greases that ball joint? I was greasing the undercarriage and when I finished the steering was much heavier. I thought I had maybe greased something I wasn't supposed to.

yes, grease the zerk fittings on the control valve and the cylinder. that's what the fittings are there for. if steering is heavy it's not because you greased those.
