I put '81 seats in my '77--perfect fit--dropped right in.

You shouldn't have any problems... I put ' 79 Pace Car seats in my
' 77. Fit like a glove..

I assume that you mean 78 pace car seats...which are the same as 79-82's. Regular 78 vettes had the same seats as a 77. Be carefull to check that the 78 seats you are going to use are not the power version...power seats will still bolt in but without the lowered floor pans that came with power seat equiped cars, you will be sitting way too high.

i got em in..... i had to fight the dynomat and the carpet to get the bolt on the holes.....
