1982 limitied addition decals
First time post here guys and gals, I am looking for somewhere to purchase the 1982 collectors edition hood and door decals, as well as several good sources for restoring a 1982 limited addition, thanks in advance for the help,,Mike

You can find them on various sites such as Mid America, Corvette Central etc....I just re-did mine (78 SA).They cost me about $250.00....ZIP may have them as well...be sure to dip them in soapy water...allows for simple alignment...

Melting Slicks
The key to getting them on correctly is using lots of soapy water, a good sqeegee (sp), and take your time. Start with the smaller decals till you get the hang of it. If you need to remove the old stripes and decals, a hair dryer and 3M adheasive remover is the trick.
I still kick my @ss for selling my mint 82 Collector car that had every factory option available.
