Default C6 Interior in a C3?

I know this might be impossible, but with some modifications will a C5 or C6 interior (dash and center console) fit in a C3? I like the newer displays and interior gadgets...

Even if you got it to fit with massive mods ...how would you make all that modern electronic gear operate? I guess you would also be installing the C6 wiring and computer systems.

Why not just make life simple and just go with the seats?

Aside from the fact that the top of a C3 dash is less than 6 inches deep and the top of the dash from a C6 is about 18 feet deep, I don't see any problems.

Anything can be done, but here is what you are in for. You have to shorten the width of the dash by about 6" and the depth of the dash by about 8". You have to recontour the shape of the shortened dash to fit your windshield then recover it. The gauge cluster runs off serial data from the Body Control Module and PCM. So you would need these as well which leads you into an LS1/LS2 conversion. Not only that, but your fuel gauge will not work unless you adapt the twin fuel tanks from a C5/6. And you new Dash will display countless error messages on the digital display as you don't have the ABS/TractionControl and all the other electronic modules tied into the BCM.

Believe me, I spent many hours researching the electrical schematics.

Incidentally, if you learn the skills to adapt a C6 interior into a C3, you will on your way to making a good income fitting repro C3 interior panels into C3's!!! Many of the repro panels don't fit good and reworking them on your own is very difficult/impossible.
