Where to buy prom for 1982
Hey guys,
My father has a 1982 corvette which is throwing a code for a bad prom. I have searched google, searched the forum, and called every local parts place. No one stocks the prom for the ecm. Do you guys know where I can get one? I dont want the hypertech prom, just the stock replacement.
Thanks,
AJ

Head over to www.diy-efi.org/gmecm. It should be a standard (if obsolete) 2732 chip. I bet someone there could help you figure out how to get a new one cooked up.
Check with the Corvette parts places, too, as listed in the "Vendors" link at the top of the page. One of them might have what you need.
