Default Best custom wheels on a C3?

So, what custom or aftermarket wheels do you guys like on your C3 Vettes? I mean...we can't ALL run Cragar S/S mags, right?

I saw that American Racing was bringing back their old "Vector" mags and I'm wanting to buy a set for my 74. Yes, these are the old "General Lee" wheels, but back before that TV show made them the choice for Chargers, they were popular on lots of cars, including Corvettes!

My car is straight out of the 70s with an early 80s vibe, and I plan to keep it that way. The Vector mags would be a cool period choice in my book, but I haven't seen a Vette with them in many long years.

What custom wheels are you running on your C3? Let's see some pictures if you can!

(Tired of the Rallie wheel look!)

My all time favorite was referred to as American 5 Spokes.

Brushed or cast aluminum spokes (some were gray) with polished rim. Not sure what they were called.

Had a set on a 70 Nova in Senior year of HS....(1972)

Sounds like you're talking about Torque-Thrust wheels. Those look REALLY good on 68-72 Vettes, in my opinion, a classic look!

I had Cragar SST wheels on this car back in the late 80s but never really liked that look, so I sold them off and ran the Rallye wheels again.

When my daughter drove the car in high school, we put some Billet Specialties wheels on it that she liked, but I took them off when I started driving the car again. They're tucked away for when we find her a suitable C3, along with the 400 engine that was in the car when she drove it.

It's just time for another change, this car has changed so many times since I bought it that it's a regular thing to alter it, and I'm thinking it needs some new wheels badly!

Thanks for the ideas, keep them coming!

These are Eagle Alloys that came with the car when I bought it (in the box, not yet installed by the PO). They would not have been my first choice as I think they're more suited to tricked out small trucks and such...but I've REALLy grown to like them, and have never seen them on another car.

Enjoy, Steve

If I was going to get any they would be AR Torque Thrust Ds with the grey spokes, Just look cool and understated.

I like mine...but I don't have a clue what they are. AR won't tell me. They do clear the calipers, which is great.
