Sealed Enclosure Vol. (Net Cu. ft.): 0.36
Speaker Size (cm): 20
Speaker Size (inch): 8
Peak Power (W): 900
Rated Power (RMS, W): 220
Impedance (ohms): 4
Sensitivity (dB/W/m): 87
Frequency Response (Hz): 30-1000
Mass (kg): 2.7
Mass (lb/oz): 6/0
d (mm): 165
d (inch): 6.5
Rdc (ohms): 3.3
Fs (Hz): 43.0
Qts: 0.48
Qes: 0.53
Qms: 4.89
Vas (Lit.): 11.9
Vas (Cu. ft.): 0.42
Mms (g): 74.9
Lvc (mH): 1.0
Xmax (mm): 2.7
Xmax (inch): 0.1
BL (Tm): 11.1
8" Polypropylene Cone
900W Peak Power (220W RMS)
Unique cone design offers superior rigidity
Gold-plated Binding Posts
Small sealed/bandpass enclosure optimized
4-Ohm Voice Coil
I would like help on building a sealed box or bandpass design I built the ones that were recommended in the subwoofer instructions but I can not get my t-tops to fit so i need to find a design that will let me fit the t-tops in there
Would this one work https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...D=71&TopicID=3
This is what crutchfeild recommends http://www.crutchfield.com/S-PWPpzEi...0&I=044T3508SS
Thanks in advance.

My hobby (other than cars) is speaker building, and many times there there is a need to make a custom sub enclosure to fit the vehicle. If making your own, check the recommended box volume(cubic inches) for your sub driver and measure an area (L x W x D) that allows the room you need. Ex: (12 x 8 x 4) or (10 x 6 x 6.4) would both work.
The box shown in the Forum will fit, but would not give the best sound for subwoofers unless your sub requires the box size that is indicated; but you can use it as a guide. Good luck.

this is how i tucked 2 jl10w6v2 and 2 amps/crossovers/caps in my 77
upper corners are fiberglass pods that the 10's mount to...... if you dont want to do the glass work, just make a suspended box with space btween the amps and box so u can slide your tops in........... i tried alot of figurations and found out that this setup is the only option unless you want to get really crazy

only way you are gonna figure it out is to get the measuring tape out and spend about 1 hour in figuring your clearances/sizes......

silver006camaro, an enclosure like this, or a variation with your .35 cu. ft. volume would work.

ok I came up with this using the box design on the forum it measures 10.5" wide 10.5" high 9"deep according to this site and the calculator http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp#ser it comes out to 0.35156 interior volume. So does this sound like a good box using the forum design
