Default Aftermarket Trailing Arm

I am planning to buy a trailing arm from Willcox Monday "tomorrow", I'd like some input of the pros and cons of aftermarket items like this.I plan on reshimming this product same as my OEM and running it like that. any suggestions?

I've never seen bad aftermarket trailing arms for the C3, but I believe there are only two or so companies making them. I have offset trailing arms from Van Steel. They are excellent, high quality pieces.

Be sure to have the car re-aligned after you put the new trailing arms on.

Are you buying a bare arm or whole assembly? Rcreed is correct about 2companies that manufacture t-arms. You may have problems w/one of them, depends on where they buy them from. The issue, and I don't know if it's been fixed or not, is the brackets on the arms for the e-brake cable and hard line where it mates to the flex line. They were off by an inch or so.

If you are not worried about stock appearance, you really should check out the T Arms from Van Steel. They are much improved units over the stock arms.

I just bought my trailing arms from tracdog, Classic corvette parts. They are reinforced, much better than anything that I've seen.
