Default Chicago area Chrome and anodizing shop

Hello, I'm looking for a shop to do some plating work, also need a anodizing place that would work on aluminum wheels, in the Chicagoland area.

Thanks,
Frank

Well, I work for the Aluminium Anodizers Council (actually, I run their database and feed data to the website.....I dont know anything about anodizing really). But, I recently put together a caapabilites chart that allows end users to search for anodizers based on the plants capabilities and location. You should be able to locate someone that can help you from the link below.

You can the search feilds blank and just search by state. There are probably 3 or 4 in Illinois. Give them a call. If they cant help you, they should be able to recommend a plant that takes walk in business.

Default Thanks!

Thanks 68sbshark! I've been looking for some places in my area that do "bright dip" anodizing for another car I'm in the process of restoring. It has some aluminum trim pieces that I'm told were bright dip anodized originally. I was just going to buff them but heard that won't be enought to get them back to looking like new again.

You can also post in the Great Lakes section. I recall some discussion in the past about a shop in Elmhurst that does plating.
