1975 Vert - What Tire size do I want?
Hmmm, getting my 'new' vert next week. It's got perfect tread, 8-10 year old BFG Radial T/A's on it P225/70/15 so it's getting new ones.
Question - I had a '79 in '79 with the 255/60/15's and was thinking about putting that size on this one. 27.1" vs 27.3" diameter so no real speedo issues.
Any fit issues w/ a stock '75? Anyone have photos of an earlier C3 wi the 255's on a stock Ralleye wheel that you could post/email me? I don't want it to look 'odd', just a little more rubber on the road would be nice. I think....

255/60-15's will fit nicely. Depending on dimensions of your specific car (they're all different), you may get some rubbing in the front when you do a hard turn (into a parking lot or up a driveway cut).

but I would put 245/60/15's up front no rubbing and they look the same as the 255's on the rear just one inch smaller for turning

According to BFGoodrich's website, a Radial T/A has the following:
Tire Size -- Section Width on Measuring Rim Width -- Overall Diameter
P245/60R15 -- 9.8 on 7 -- 26.6
P255/60R15 -- 10.2 on 7.5 -- 26.8
