Windshield molding clips
When I had my windshield removed in my 76 vette there was only 8 clips holding the molding in place. Only 2 of the eight were screwed in, the other six were held in place by the t-bar molding. Is this correct or should the all be screwed in . Are there suppost to be clips down the piller post also? Thanks much as the help and info I have found here so far has been very helpful

My AIM never shows a quantity here.
In fact, I think the same for BOTH my AIMs (75 and 70).
When I installed mine, I put one clip for each of the "tabs" that
are on the top windshield molding. 7, 9 ... something like that.
I screwed ALL mine in, but I think originally they were not ALL screwed in.
Make sure you seal between the clip and the WS frame to keep water out.
Those screws can be a b itch to get in, so make sure you have a
top quality brand-new #2 phillips screwdriver to do it.
Use new screws and new clips.
