Default 71 Fan Clutch Part numbers please.

Does anyone have the correct parts numbers for a 71 SB water pump, fan clutch and fan blades (something I can use at the local parts store)?

I am rebuilding my 71 SB and bought what I thought was a new replacement for the water pump. I painted the pump and clear coated it before I put it on (so it would look nice).

Now when I try to mount the fan clutch, the thing won’t mount. It seems that the water pump shaft diameter is larger than the hole in the fan clutch. When I went back to the original water pump (just happen to have it) the shaft on it was so short that it barley cleared the mounting bracket. I went to the auto parts store to buy a replacement fan clutch that would fit the water pump. Now the fan doesn’t fit the fan clutch.

What I figure is that the parts guys are screwed up or the last guy that put this engine together just grabbed some parts that would fit.

Now, I’m thinking of just going without a fan clutch and installing a flex fan (frustration speaking here).

Parts numbers please or suggestions.

Assuming you have correct pump...

Hayden Standard Thermal Clutch Fan:
Part No. 2713 W/O A/C
Part No. 2799 With A/C

Scroll down to page 23...

Water pump..

Another source is GM...but they charge more...

Personally,I would not recomend a "Flex Fan".....they can fail....

What would be the part numbers for the correct fan and water pump? Is the Ecklers # the same from a local auto parts shop? Just so I know what I have is right or not.
