That's a surprise because Mid America has owned it for years. Is it the original or a clone?

Got to be one of the ugliest Corvettes made.
I saw it from afar at the 50th Celebration. Turned and walked the other direction.

Here's Mid America's car taken last October. I don't know if it's the same car or not. I was amused that the 'reflective' material in the back was crumpled up aluminum foil behind clear red plastic.

Edit: The ebay one is definitely a clone. Not that it matters. They're ALL butt ugly.

Absolutely no money was put into the motor--bird's nest wiring, flex fan, and no fan shroud.

Good example for you "Custom" guys. What may look nice today, may look like s__t tomarrow. The very definition of "Classic", is that it stands the test of time.

The original movie car was right hand drive. the one on e-bay is not.
I'm kind of sorry I know that.

I think only 2. The one Mid America owns and the other, I believe I read somewhere, is in Australia.

Do you know why it had right hand drive? So you could talk to chicks walking down the sidewalk while you're out cruzin! Honest to God. And as far as this being a lesson to customizer's.........This one was seen as a disaster by everyone from the day the movie opened, believe me.

Check this out. The company that painted my vette was contracted to do this. What a waist of money, in my eyes.
